Referring Attorneys

At The Mills Law Firm, LLP, we are proud to have a long history working with other attorneys handling the referrals of complex litigation cases for their clients.  Since the Firm’s inception, we have developed and cultivated many professional relationships with attorneys who concentrate on practice areas other than complex personal injury litigation.  In fact, a large percentage of our cases are referred to us by other attorneys and law firms.

We greatly appreciate the confidence and trust that other attorneys have placed in us to handle their clients’ cases.  We are proud that we have successfully litigated hundreds of cases for other attorneys, and we value the relationships that we have developed.

The extent of our participation in a case ranges from total responsibility for representation from the inception of the case to becoming involved as trial or appellate counsel.  The nature of our involvement is a decision made in conjunction with the referring or associating attorneys. As part of our goal to maintain existing relationships and to develop new relationships, we endeavor to work out a fee-sharing agreement in every case that is completely satisfactory to the referring attorney as permitted by the Code of Professional Responsibility.

Our Firm has the experience and resources necessary to properly handle expensive, complex personal injury cases from medical malpractice actions to construction cases to automobile accidents.  We have developed strong relationships with experts in many disciplines, specialties and subspecialties of medicine, engineering, accident reconstruction, life care planning, economics and more.  We also employ talented and dedicated support staff, including a medical doctor who is a former Director of Medicine at a local hospital, and have assembled an investigative team with unparalleled experience.

If you have any clients or cases that you feel require the attention to detail, resources and experience that our Firm can provide, please contact our office and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can be of assistance to you and your clients.
